Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the I’m Here to Help mobile application collects, uses, and protects information. The app helps people manage reminders and schedules and, when enabled, share selected information with a Family Connect helper.
Information we collect
- Account and contact information: your name, account identifier, and information used to create and maintain your account.
- Reminder and schedule content: information you enter, such as tasks, medication reminders, appointments, notes, completion status, and sharing preferences.
- Location: precise location only when you choose to enable an app feature that requires it and grant permission on your device.
- Purchase information: subscription status and purchase history needed to provide paid features. Payments are processed by Apple; the app does not receive your full payment-card information.
- Device and account identifiers: identifiers needed for sign-in, synchronization, notifications, security, and app functionality.
How we use information
We use information only to operate and improve the app, including creating reminders, sending notifications, synchronizing information across authorized devices, supporting Apple Calendar integration, providing Family Connect features, confirming subscriptions, maintaining security, and responding to support needs.
Family Connect and sharing
Family Connect allows a primary user and an authorized helper to share reminders, completion information, and other selected app content. Both participants control the information they enter and may edit or delete shared items as permitted by the app. Location sharing is optional and remains off unless the user enables it and grants device permission.
Apple services and permissions
With your permission, the app may interact with Apple services such as Calendar, notifications, location services, and in-app purchases. You can change device permissions in iOS Settings. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.
Data disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support essential app functions, such as account authentication, secure synchronization, notifications, and purchase validation. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, the app, or others.
Data retention and deletion
Information is kept only as long as needed to provide the app, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. You may delete individual reminders and other content in the app. Account-deletion or privacy requests can be submitted through the app’s support contact or the support option on its App Store listing.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If such information is identified, please contact us so it can be addressed.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the app changes or legal requirements evolve. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the latest version took effect.
